Today in class we took a test. I did very well on it. The test was very easy and focused on alot of the government. I got an 80 on the test

today in class we talked about the main points in the powerpoint that are important.

• it is very important that i listen to the song by chicago 
• prateors means fathers 
• they are the ones that look over everyone 
• rome had twelve tables 
• women did not have rights 
• we had teh bill of rights 
• roman legion did not fight just for the money 
• the fihght method that they used that looked like a phalenx was called a century 
• there were three punic wars 
• rome won all of them 
• rome bro0ught in slaves from every part of the area that they took over 
• this caused the regular people to not have any jobs 
• the rich would give plebs certain days so thT they would think they have a good life and not revolt 
• if someone tried to revolt they got crucified 
• julius ceasar was a sergant general that had taken over gaul 
• he wanted more power than he was allowed 
• he wad close to becoming the king
• he and three of his close friends that were very powrful became the triumviate 
• when he went to gual he broughyt in the full army which did not please the senate because they thougt that it made him look too powerful 
• he then became dictator of gual 
• he then was kiloled by everyone in the senate

today in class Delaney was here which is good since today was our last day to be able to present the project. The project I believe turned out very well. Mr.Schick tried to make it harder for us and yell at us alot while we presented but we made it through. I think that we will get a good grade on it.

today in class we did more projects. I was supposed to go however delaney was not here today so i asked mr.schick if i could go tomorrow. I am very glad that he allowed that because i believe it would have been much harder for me to be able to present today.

5/18/15

Today in class we had the first three projects. The first one was Kacey and Meredith they did one on food and pottery of rome. They made their own roman food and brought it in to school for us to eat. The next project was Avery and she made a fayum portrait every one said that it looked like me. Then after that it Jude, Stevie, and Pev. Jude was not here today and he had their power poinr along with the other half of their paper. But their project was on aqueducts

Today in class we worked on our projcts. Mr.Schick told the class that we had a paper that we had to write for it also. Many of the students were mad about tis . But we spent the whole class just writing the paper

Today in class we did a pop quiz. It was not very hard I got a 70 on it. I only did not understand the questions about who was in a government.
